Meet your instructor

Dave served for 30 years with the UK Police – including as a Marine Police Patrol Officer/Coxswain and Police Trainer. He has clocked up thousands of sea hours, both professionally and for recreation.

In addition to providing regular courses for Australian Sailing at various Sydney Sailing clubs, he delivers personalised training to new syndicate owners of Black Pearl, an Océanis 40 yacht.

He is the Manager and Skipper of Too Up (https://tooupsailing.com.au), a 12m Fountaine Pajot catamaran, moored at Birkenhead
Point, hosting regular commercial charters in and around Sydney Harbour.
